“普京参加好声音”的视频系不同视频剪辑拼接而成，但制作者用神一般的技术，让普京看起来像是真的参加了好声音比赛一般。另外，视频中普京唱歌确有其事，其原版是普京在圣彼得斯堡的一场公益演出中所演唱的曲目，美国爵士乐艺人路易斯·阿姆斯特朗的歌曲《蓝莓山》。
